This is one of my favorite paintings from my Florence trip. I was captivated by the warm glowing light coming through the window and landing on the museum guards shoulders as he read the news. Although he was unaware of the inspiration he gave me in that moment, this painting exists. It is a reminder of all the small moments of magic that are possible.
