What is Dominique Medici Art Academy?

Dominique Medici Art Academy is an online self paced year long program that will take you from the basics to having a solid foundation in drawing. Year one is all about drawing because drawing is the foundation of every other art skill. Whether you ultimately specialize in painting, sculpting, illustration or animation, drawing is an essential skill to master. 

How does Dominique Medici Art Academy work?

Each week on Monday and Wednesday at 9am (EST) 6am (pacific) a 20 min instructional video will be posted on Youtube. Over the course of the year I will teach you drawing skills. Whether you have never held a pencil in your life or if you have prior experience but want to refresh your skills, this course is for you. The lessons can fit into most of our busy schedules. The episode lessons start simple and each new lesson builds on the previous. You can work at your own pace, as time permits and for as long as you want. At the end of the year you will have a solid foundation in drawing. The best bit is that the youtube channel is free.

If you want to dive deeper. Each month I offer a paid online weekend workshop that will tie together the months lessons. This is how DMAA funds itself. The online weekend workshops allow us to practice the months lessons in greater depth with more guidance.
